Hello! Welcome to BLS / First Aid at Yo San University in Los Angeles with AHA instructor Phi Tran. I’m a creative and compassionate professional who believes in a world where we can thrive as individuals by empowering others. I appreciate your interest in the American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) and Heartsaver First Aid program. Although my professional background is in educational technology and recreational aquatics, I have been teaching prehospital care since 2007 and serving the acupuncture community since 2016.
Please click the class title from the following options to register for Sunday, December 14, 2025 from 9:00am-3:30pm. All classes are in-person only with no online component to minimize cost to students.
> New Student ($120)
This option is if you have not taken both BLS (hospital-level CPR) and First Aid classes before, or have taken the classes but whose cards are past the Renew By date (expiration is after the end of the month listed on your AHA eCards).
> Renewal Student ($100)
Not sure if you are eligible for renewal? Click here to find your AHA eCard and look for the Renew By date – your eCards expire at the end of that month.
